My name is Michael S. Koehler and I am an editorial and photojournalist photographer. Based in Scotch Plains, New Jersey and serving the Tri-State area. I am available and have experience in destination weddings and events.Photographing weddings and engagements are my main focus but I also have experience in capturing Bar Mitzvahs, Sweet Sixteen parties and other celebration events. My photography skills also concentrate on family and individual portraits for business or personal documentation.I was born on Long Island and after attending Rochester Institute of Technology I migrated to New York City. I spent thirty-five years there gaining photographic experience in weddings and portraiture. Weddings progressed as I photographed friends' weddings and gave them the prints as a gift. Happy with the results, colleagues would hire me as a second photographer.
